Welcome to our School
At Lazonby C of E School we want to inspire children to be life-long learners as part of our safe, trusting and happy family. We all belong to a community that encourages cares and supports others – allowing everyone to flourish.
Lazonby C of E School has been central to the community it serves since it was established in 1863. Our rural setting, in the heart of the Eden Valley, provides a wonderful backdrop for our aim of providing an environment where everyone is encouraged to ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’. Ours is a warm and friendly school, where each pupil is known personally. We enjoy many links with the local community, and have a strong bond with the church and the diocese of Carlisle.
Lazonby C of E is a small school with approximately 100 pupils on roll.
Our classes are taught in mixed year groups Nursery and Reception, Year 1 and 2, Year 3 and 4 and Year 5 and 6. We provide wrap around care on site.
