The Local Governing Body of Lazonby School invite applications from appropriately qualified (QTS) teachers for this temporary one-year contract, teaching in Year 1 and 2, due to new class structures.

We are looking for:

  • Someone who will work collaboratively with other members of staff, be flexible, well organised and enthusiastic.
  • Someone who can work through a cross-curricular approach providing an imaginative and exciting curriculum.
  • Someone who will continue to develop our positive Christian values
  • An excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of pupils’ behaviour and standards

  • Have experience of working within Key Stage One
  • Be able to plan appropriately to meet children’s individual needs in all areas of learning
  • Be well organised with high expectations of pupil performance and behaviour
  • Be a committed team member who will play an active part in the life of the school
  • Use a cross-curricular approach to create exciting and engaging learning opportunities
  • Will engage with families and promote home-school links
  • Support the school’s Christian ethos and values and willing to be part of the wider school community.

Year 5 and 6 Teaching Assistant

Required September 2022

£19,171 pro rata  - NOR 90 + 17 Nursery

The Local Governing Body of Lazonby CE School invite applications from appropriately experienced, qualified teaching assistants. This role is for 15 hours, (5 mornings) teaching assistant to work with Year 5 and 6 for one year.

We are looking for someone who:     

  • will work collaboratively with other members of staff, be flexible, well organised and enthusiastic,
  • work closely and form strong links with individual and groups of children,
  • will be enthusiastic, imaginative and a good role model,
  • have a good knowledge of the Year 5 and 6 curriculum,
  • will continue to develop our positive Christian values.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • have experience of working within Year 5 and 6,
  • experience of working one to one and groups,
  • have good numeracy and Literacy skills,
  • be able to plan appropriately to meet children’s individual needs in all areas of learning,
  • be well organised with high expectations of pupil performance and behaviour,
  • be a committed team member who will play an active part in the life of the school,
  • will engage with families and promote home school links,
  • support the school’s Christian ethos and values and be willing to be part of the wider school community.
